If you would like to volunteer for the WRA, now is the time to get involved. To ensure that our volunteers are prepared for the busy season ahead, we are currently recruiting and training volunteers.
Positions available include:
Wildlife Helpline Volunteers Should have advanced customer service skills and possess the ability to thrive in controlled chaos. Shifts for this position are available seven-days-a-week and there is a minimum six-month commitment from March-August. Training begins in February, so applicants should apply ASAP.
Summer camp helpers Must be available in July and August to assist staff in running nature camps for kids aged 6 to 12. A positive upbeat attitude and criminal record check is a must and experience with kids an asset. This is a great opportunity for high school students.
Transport volunteers Volunteers who pick up and release animals are also needed, particularly drivers who are able to travel to Surrey, Richmond, Langley, Abbottsford, and Delta.
