Since 1979 more than 140,000 animals have been treated by Wildlife Rescue.
Thanks to the support of individuals like you, Wildlife Rescue can provide a lifeline for animals in distress.
Extreme weather conditions are becoming more and more common, adding stress to wildlife species and their habitats. Animals tend to choose areas where they prefer the climate, yet these climates are rapidly changing leading to loss of habitat and natural food sources.
The Red-Breasted Nuthatch, Black-Capped Chickadee, Hummingbird, Purple House Finch are a few of the winter animals Wildlife Rescue provides care to during these cold, winter months.
When we get extreme weather events, we must adapt quickly, and sometimes we need a bit of help to get through it. Wildlife must do the same – adapt quickly and receive a little help. We can be that help. There are three things that animals need, no matter what type of extreme weather: water, shelter, and food.
With just a little effort we can have a big impact on the lives of animals during extreme weather conditions.
