Giving a gift of securities is easy!

Donating securities is a tax-smart way of making a positive impact to the Wildlife Rescue Association. A gift of securities with bonds and employee stock options, are valuable opportunities to transform assets into immediate tax benefits with significant support for the rehabilitation of wildlife in your local community.

Here is how you can make the most of your securities donation to the Wildlife Rescue Association:

You pay no tax on the capital gains that have accumulated on the donated securities, allowing you to give more and make a bigger impact.
You protect the tax credits for use against other taxable income.
You receive a charitable tax receipt for the fair market value of the securities.
You create a charitable legacy through gift planning for many years to come.

How to Give:

Inform your financial advisor of your wish to donate securities to the Wildlife Rescue Association, and together with your advisor, complete the Charitable Donation of Securities in Kind Form.
Your advisor will send a completed copy to the Wildlife Rescue Association AND to our broker, TD Waterhouse.
You will be issued a charitable tax receipt for the market closing price on the day the securities are received in our TD investment account.
